1 Year Old!!

A few weeks ago we celebrated Payton’s 1 year birthday! We had a small party with family and friends the day after Thanksgiving. Payton was a little shy at first, but it didn’t take her more than 5 minutes to warm up. She loved being the center of attention the whole night. Here are a few pictures.

















Tony, Jamie and my new nephew, Eli, were able to come back for Thanksgiving, so it was fun to be able to spend a long weekend with them. Seeing them every few months just isn’t enough, especially now that they have a little one!









Payton also had her 1 year checkup, which unfortunately included shots. She did pretty well and is a healthy little girl weighing in at 19 lbs 6 oz and 29 inches tall. That puts her in the 20th percentile for weight and 35th percentile for height. She can walk, but still prefers to scoot. She’s just a little too scared to do it on her own. She’s started making noises that sound more and more like real words, but the only one we can make out for sure is “hi”. Hard to believe she is one year old already!!
