4 Weeks Old

Nolan is four weeks old!! At his 2 week appointment he weighed 8 lbs 5 oz (40th percentile) and was 21 inches long (60th percentile). He has been sleeping pretty well and we've even been lucky enough to have had a few nights where he only got up once. He still eats every 3 hours throughout the day and will usually sleep for 1 1/2 - 2 hours in between feedings.

Payton is still enjoying having him around. She constantly wants to hold him and if someone else is holding him she makes sure they have everything they need (burp rag, bib and pacifier, etc). Whenever she walks by him she'll pat him on the head or stroke his cheek. When he cries she tends to get a little worried, but is quick to get his pacifier. It's so cute to see how nurturing she is towards him. Sometimes she does get a little rough with him, so we are constantly reminding her to be gentle.

This last month has been incredibly busy, but so much fun to have a newborn again!!
