Payton is 15 months old! We had her checkup today and she weighs 22 lbs 2 oz and is 31 inches tall. (40th percentile for weight and 65th percentile for height) She didn't get her shots because the fridge at the doctor's office broke down, so we go back next week for those. Kind of nice we could put if off a little longer, but I was also looking forward to having them over with.
She is now down to one nap a day, usually from about 12 - 2 or so. It's nice to have time to be able to run errands and not have to rush home for a nap, but it can also mean a long morning or afternoon to find things for her to do. She recently had two teeth come in, so she now has 8 total (4 on top and 4 on bottom).
She is saying quite a few words which include: Mama, Dada, Papa, baby, ball, uh-oh (do you consider that a word?), hi, and bye-bye. She walks more and more each day, but still scoots around some. Right now her favorite toy is by far her baby doll, but she also loves playing with her puppy and tea set. We recently got a Little Tikes basketball hoop from Ryan's sister and Ryan is desperately trying to get her interested. He takes her to the basement to shoot hoops almost every night and after one dunk, she decides she'd rather push around the stroller. However, she does love to watch Ryan dribble around and shoot. It has been fun watching her grow and learn. She is constantly making us laugh!
Happy to be walking!
