He has gotten five more teeth in the last month, which could explain his crankiness. He got four on top and one more on the bottom. His naps were a little unpredictable the last month, which I'm guessing were also affected by his teeth, however we're now back to two naps during the day (usually 1 - 1 1/2 hours each). He goes to bed around 6:30 or 7 pm and sleeps about 11 - 12 hours. He takes four bottles a day and drinks 3 - 4 ounces. He still eats a lot of pureed foods, but we're slowly transitioning to more finger foods. New foods this month include grilled chicken, corn, mac 'n cheese and chicken enchiladas.
Nolan has started to play peek-a-boo, dance when music comes on and clap his hands. He'll wave if he hears us say good-bye to someone or if someone waves to him. He loves to sit at the top of the stairs and throw balls through the gate down the steps. We've scoured the house to find all the balls we have to make the game last as long as we can because once he's done someone has to gather them up so he can do it again. :) His newest antic, which is my favorite, is when he laughs when other people laugh.
He loves watching Payton do things. He even claps for her when she goes down the slide. However, she can get a little rough with him and we've noticed if someone isn't in the room and she gets close to him, he'll start to whine before she even touches him. I think he's trying to warn us that she's getting close. :) All in all, he enjoys her company.
Happy 10 months, Nolan!
