Nolan is 9 months old! Seems so crazy to me. Even crazier he'll be a year old in less than three months! He had his 9 month checkup today and he's doing well. He weighs 18 lbs (25th percentile) and is 28 3/4 inches long (65th percentile). He was 29 inches long at his 6 month checkup, so apparently he either shrunk or they were waaaay off last time. :)
This past month we transitioned from breastmilk to formula and he is doing really well. He eats an average of 4 - 6 ounces in the morning and then has three more bottles throughout the day in which he'll drink 2 - 4 ounces. He still loves solids and we're working on incorporating more finger foods. Some of his favorites are bananas, sweet potatoes and peas.
He has really started to copy us lately. He smacks his lips, pats his belly, shakes his head back and forth, and we even get an occasional wave. He says "mamama" allll the time, even when we say "dadada", which I love because Payton always did the opposite. :) He has started dancing when music comes on and will laugh when other people laugh.
He still only has his bottom two teeth that he got when he was 6 months old. It looks like he's getting a couple on the top though and he's been a little fussy lately. Hopefully those come through soon. He loves standing up and can kind of pull him self up on things. His favorite toy right now is his walker, which allows him to get all around the house. He hasn't started crawling or scooting yet, but is getting closer.
